OLAS Marine is a range of marine safety products designed and manufactured by Ultimate Sports Engineering, a UK engineering company specialising in electronic safety systems for marine and outdoor use.
Ultimate Sports Engineering has been developing and building specialist electronics in the UK for many years, focusing on reliable, real-world technology for demanding environments. The team combines hardware and software design to create practical safety solutions used by both professional crews and recreational sailors.
The OLAS (Overboard Location Alert System) range - previously known as Exposure OLAS -grew out of this background in marine lighting and safety electronics. It provides man-overboard detection and alerting systems designed to improve response time and help prevent incidents escalating at sea. All OLAS products are designed, engineered, tested and manufactured in the UK by Ultimate Sports Engineering, ensuring full control over quality and continuous product development.
Ultimate Sports Engineering also manufactures OLAS-branded products for third-party partners, including the ACR OLAS range supplied through ACR Electronics for distribution in the US market. This reinforces its position as the original manufacturer behind the OLAS technology used globally.
