How it works

Wear a tag

Everyone wears an OLAS Tag or rechargeable T2 on the wrist, clothing or lifejacket. Tags are waterproof to IP67.

The hub watches the crew

Guardian, N2K or Core keeps a wireless link with up to 25 tags.

Alarm, then engine stop

If a tag goes in the water the alarm sounds. With Guardian or N2K the engine stops too, and the app guides you back to the spot.

Will OLAS work on a diesel engine?

Yes. Guardian and N2K connect directly to stop circuits rated 2 Amps or less. If your stop solenoid draws more, add the OLAS Diesel Relay Box. Our Guardian for working boats page explains the options.

Do I have to take my kill cord off?

No. OLAS Guardian connects to your existing kill switch circuit and works alongside your kill cord, so you can use either.
